It's always exciting to visit workshops of various artists and designers around the globe, even if this visit is just a virtual one. The visual experiences can be both enriching and surprising while we step into another world. And this world is sometimes really far away from our daily reality.

Today we're going to take our design visit to Lindsey Adelman's studio in Manhattan, where a team of 10 talented designers is specialized in unique hand-made lighting fixtures and solutions. The team works closely with an extensive group of local craftsmen including platers, glassblowers, machine shops and casters. This successful collaboration resulted in a number of unusual lighting ideas and sophisticated projects. Below is our favorite pick of the studio's creative lamps and chandeliers. Each of these extraordinary light fantasies carry a unique name and take you to a dream world: Boom Boom Burst, Burst, Clamp Light and Terrarium. There's no doubt that these lamps are artistic creations. In case you want to purchase one of the models presented here, you need to be prepared to place a big sum of money on the table: the cheapest one is around $1,500 and the Boom Boom Burst costs $105,000.

Although the main focus of Lindsey Adelman workshop has been on brass lighting and hand-blown glass, the company is now opening up into other product lines as well: jewelry, tiles, and wallpaper are among the future plans of the studio. We're curiously looking forward to seeing these creations, too
