Börger’s pumps at UK’s largest advanced digestion plant

Pumping washwater at the largest advanced digestion plant in the UK is the latest application now being handled by Börger’s pumps.

Powered by 18.5 kW motors, three PL200 Börger pumps handle flow rates of between 23m3/hr and 54m3/hr (with a suction lift of three metres) for Anglian Water’s new washwater plant at Great Billing in Northamptonshire, UK.

This latest installation follows the use of a further 15 Börger pumps on six different applications, including the continuous transfer of sludge to the blend tank that feeds the raw sludge thickening belts prior to the anaerobic digesters.
